Beale Wildlife Park’s Love your Zoo Week
27 May, 2023 - 5 June, 2023
Join in this May Half Term and celebrate everything you love about Beale Park.
Love Tree Project
What do you love most about Beale? Tell us and the world with our Heart Tree. Grab a wooden heart from the ticket office, decorate it at our craft station and let us know your favourite part of the park. Then, hang it on our tree and give a little love. We’ll share our favourites on social media.
Face Painters
Transform into your favourite animal at the park with the amazing Glow and Go Team. Our talented face painters will be on-site to transform you and your little ones into Lynx, Zebras, Parrots and more throughout the holidays. Tickets are just £3 with sales going directly towards our animal projects.
Glow and Go are here on the 27th 28th and 29th of May and again on the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th of June.
Marvellous Mini Beasts and Python Picnic
Join in and meet our Marvellous Mini Beasts and Super Snakes. This is a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with some of our animals and learn what makes them tick (and click and hiss!). Check the What’s On Board next to the ticket office for timings.
Animal Enrichment activity
Learn all about and get involved in what we do to enrich the lives of our animals. In this free activity, you will get the chance to make some interactive toys, filled with food, smells and textures for our animals to explore and enjoy. You then get the opportunity to see where this will go in the enclosure and maybe even see our animals interacting with it!
Spaces for this activity are limited and available on a first-come first served basis. Although you will not be going into an animal’s enclosure, you will be handling their food and or toys; please notify us of any allergies before starting the activity. Tickets are available from the ticket office
Trail – Team Beale’s favourite animals
We love all our residents here at Beale Park, however, there are a few shining lights that we can’t help but give the occasional bit of extra love to. Follow our self-guided trail around the park and find out who some of Team Beale favourites really are, do you agree with them?
Trails are £1, and prizes can be collected from the ticket office. All proceeds go directly towards our new animal enclosure projects.
Keeper Talks
Join our knowledgeable keepers throughout the day and learn a little more about our amazing animals. Keeper talks give you a great chance to see our animals out and about and get the inside scoop on their favourite snacks, their interesting behaviours, and what they get up to when the public aren’t around!
Keeper talks happen daily; check out the What’s On Board on arrival for times and locations.
Nature Club
Nature Club is back this half-term! On the 27th of May at 10:15 AM you and your little ones can join us and explore the wonders of nature. Each session is centred around a new theme in the natural world, from our magnificent native species to our amazing local plants. Tickets must be pre-booked online. Please note that each child will need a parent to support them with activities. Once your session is done, you are welcome to explore the park independently.
In this month’s session, you will become “Bud Detectives”, meeting some of our marvellous minibeasts, learning all about their habitats and making a bug-tastic craft to take away. For more information and to book tickets, CLICK HERE.
