The Dinosaur Park Tenby

While on holiday in Tenby, we had a Roarsome day at The Dinosaur Park which is just a 10-minute drive from the town.

One thing we loved was that once you’ve paid your entrance fees, pretty much everything is included in the price. This meant the girls could have any amount of goes on the rides and activities, and as a parent, you didn’t have to worry about the cost or saying no. The only thing extra we paid for was an ice cream each.

We were very lucky with the weather as it was warm and sunny so everything was open and with the park being 90% outside activities we could enjoy them all.

When you arrive you walk through the main entrance, where you will also find the large cafe, toilets and gift shop. You will also find the times for the daily activities & list of the attractions in the park.

Here are some of our favourites from our family day out at The Dinosaur Park Tenby.

Astra Slide – This is a massive blue wavey slide which you can race down while in a hessian sack. Even I went on this one but sadly lost against my own daughters.

Tubey Run – The girls loved this one. They sat in the inflatable tube together and flew down the ski slope style track being sprayed with water. You could hear their screams and giggles all the way down.

Adventure Nets – this set up was great. A circural tower where the top part is a big area of net to bounce around in with a slide to get down with. On the bottom level is a raised assault course with rope bridges and beams to balance across.

Super jumper bungee trampolines– these are always a good one and great they are included in the entry price as these can be 5 pounds each normally.

Hurricane Cars – I went on these and can confirm they spin round super fast. I had to go on with my 8 year and my 11 year old went in her own car. These were really fun to steer as were with leavers rather than a wheel. We spent a while chasing after each other in the car area.

Le Dino Circuit – small racing track, I went in with my 8 year old. I secretly love being made to join in on rides as this one was fun.

The Dinosaur Trail – is a nice 20 minute walk through the woodland where you can spot around 30 life sized dinosaurs. It is very educational with information boards about each type of dinosaur and i found out lots i didnt know about the time line of the dinosaurs and where they lived. There was also little fun fact boards along the way.

12 Hole T-Rex Golf course – simple collect your clubs and balls from the hut at the start and have fun playing against your family.

There is also an indoor play barn with soft play and wooden climbing frame. A VR game, guided safari walks and foot golf. The foot golf was on a slight hill so we found this to be a bit to difficult and repetitive.

We arrived for when the park opened, which is what I try to do to avoid queues. Saying that, we didn’t have to wait much at all through out the day. The staff run the place very well and as there is plenty to do everyone is spread out over the park.

The girls really enjoyed the park and it was easy to spend the full day there.
